The learning system

A curriculum that turns knowledge into action

A clear 12-month roadmap for adult learners—built around useful communication, spaced review, and evidence of progress.

Core sequence

Three levels, eighteen practical units

Placement is flexible. Learners can slow down, repeat a speaking mission, or test forward when they are ready.

01

A1 · English Foundations

Build the sentence toolkit

Identity and greetings · numbers and time · people and places · daily routines · food and shopping · directions and services.

Outcome: handle short, predictable everyday exchanges.
02

A2 · Everyday English

Become independent in common situations

Past experiences · future plans · travel · health · work routines · social conversations.

Outcome: keep a conversation going and solve common problems.
03

B1 · Confident Communication

Express, explain, and participate

Opinions · storytelling · collaboration · media literacy · presentations · intercultural communication.

Outcome: communicate connected ideas with growing fluency.
A better weekly rhythm

Learn. Practise. Use. Reflect.

No endless video library. Every lesson asks the learner to do something observable.

1

Understand

A concise explanation with translation support and examples.

2

Notice

Listen or read for the target language in a realistic situation.

3

Practise

Low-pressure checks with immediate, specific feedback.

4

Speak

A guided real-life mission recorded or completed live.

5

Review

Spaced retrieval and a short reflection before moving on.

Assessment

Progress should be visible

Each unit ends with a can-do checkpoint rather than a vague completion badge. Learners see accuracy, fluency, vocabulary range, pronunciation clarity, and next-step feedback.

The app tracks lesson completion and checkpoint attempts. Speaking and writing tasks are designed so a tutor—or Kio when AI feedback is configured—can respond using the same transparent rubric.
